Pollution—the release of a harmful substance into the environment 7. Threatened—likely to become and endangered species 8. Conservation—the careful management and usage of the environment 9. Environment—all the living and nonliving things surrounding an organism—a living thing 10. People—the number one reason every animal is endangered or extinct
